In 2020, mental health therapists were navigating an unprecedented global crisis and often felt unprepared for the challenges they faced. OCD clinicians Krista Reed, Shauna Meier, and Dave Anderson began collaborating and supporting one another professionally during this difficult time.
Realizing the need for stronger community support, Krista connected with other OCD clinicians to unite and advocate for individuals struggling with OCD, and help people in the Wichita area locate qualified local OCD specialists. From this effort, the ICT OCD Alliance was formed.
In 2026, Krista recognized the need to expand these efforts statewide in order to help even more individuals access evidence-based OCD treatment. This vision led to the creation of the Kansas OCD Alliance.
This site is dedicated to helping individuals of all ages connect with OCD experts across the state of Kansas. Each therapist listed has extensive experience treating OCD and has completed rigorous training and consultation to provide high-quality, evidence-based care.
On average, it takes 14–17 years from the onset of OCD symptoms for individuals to receive a proper diagnosis. The Kansas OCD Alliance is committed to reducing that gap and helping people access effective treatment sooner.
